Pool Opening & Closing questions
When should I open my pool?
Most Los Angeles County pools never fully close, but if yours was covered we recommend a startup by March, once daytime temperatures are consistently in the 70s. Starting earlier is easier than fighting algae later.
When should I close it?
If you close at all, once water temperatures stay below 60°F — typically late November here. Foothill and mountain properties should close before the first freeze.
Is the cover included?
Installation and removal of your existing cover is included. New covers are quoted separately.
